WHAT BIKE WILL I RIDE?

Riders participating in the Skilled Riders Course, ride their own motorcycles.

To take the new rider course, you’ll need to wear either a long-sleeve shirt or a jacket, jeans or leather pants and a pair of sturdy, over-the ankle boots. Additionally full-fingered gloves are required for hand protection, a minimum DOT-approved helmet, and eye wear for protection from the elements.

You’ll also need to present either your driver’s license or your learner’s permit before you can register. You’ll also need to know how to ride a bicycle too.

We offer the skilled rider course for individuals who are experienced in driving motorcycles. In this eight-hour class, you’ll learn how to control your bike at lower speeds as well as advanced maneuvers. Unlike the new rider course, you’ll need to provide your own street-ready bike.
